Schedule Expectation

About the Position

This position offers flexible scheduling, supportive supervision, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and relationally grounded practice environment.

The practice primarily serves adults and older adolescents experiencing concerns related to anxiety, stress, relationships, neurodivergence, compulsive behaviors, addiction recovery, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

We value thoughtful, sustainable clinical work rather than high-volume productivity expectations.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold an active Washington State associate-level behavioral health credential, including one of the following:

• LMHCA
• LSWAIC
• LMFTA

Ideal candidates demonstrate:

• Strong clinical judgment and professionalism
• Interest in relationally grounded and evidence-based therapy
• Ability to work independently while participating in supervision and consultation
• Reliable internet access and a private workspace for telehealth services

Supervision & Professional Development

Clinical supervision is provided by a Washington State Approved Supervisor (LMHC) in accordance with associate licensure requirements.

We value collaborative, growth-oriented supervision that supports ethical practice, confidence-building, professional development, and sustainable clinical growth.

Associates pursuing LICSW licensure will need to obtain any additional supervision required to fulfill Washington State LICSW requirements.

Because supervision is provided within the supervisor’s areas of competency, this position is best suited for clinicians interested in working with adults and older adolescents rather than young children.

Practice Values

Hawks Prairie Counseling & Coaching is proud to be a Washington State Certified Women & Minority-Owned Business (WMBE).

We are committed to creating an inclusive, affirming, and respectful environment for clients and clinicians of diverse identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

We strongly encourage applications from clinicians who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, gender non-conforming, and/or members of other historically underrepresented communities in the mental health profession, including men and masculine-identifying clinicians in a female-dominated field.
