Compulsive Behaviors & Addiction Recovery
Compulsive behaviors and addiction can leave people feeling isolated, ashamed, emotionally exhausted, and disconnected from themselves and the people they care about most. Whether someone is struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors, problematic pornography use, relationship patterns, or other addictive behaviors, healing and recovery are possible.
At Hawks Prairie Counseling & Coaching, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults seeking support in understanding and changing patterns that no longer align with the life they want to live. Our approach is respectful, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through honesty, connection, accountability, and self-understanding.

Certified Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT)
Lisa Swihart, LMHC, LPC, CSAT, is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist with specialized training in the treatment of compulsive sexual behaviors and pornography addiction. CSAT training provides advanced understanding of the emotional, behavioral, relational, and neurological patterns often associated with compulsive sexual behavior and recovery.
Therapy is provided in a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore difficult experiences without shame or stigma.
Relationship with Food & Self
Therapy may also support individuals struggling with binge eating, emotional eating, shame-based coping patterns, and difficult relationships with food or body image. Our approach emphasizes curiosity, self-awareness, emotional understanding, and sustainable change rather than shame, punishment, or rigid control.
A Supportive Environment for Change
Seeking support for compulsive behaviors or addiction can feel vulnerable. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and encouraged throughout the recovery process.
Recovery is not about perfection. It is about building greater awareness, honesty, connection, and alignment with the life and relationships that matter most.
