Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety can leave people feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns of worry and self-doubt. Whether anxiety shows up as racing thoughts, chronic stress, panic, perfectionism, difficulty relaxing, or feeling constantly “on edge,” support is available.

At Hawks Prairie Counseling & Coaching, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults and older adolescents experiencing anxiety and stress-related challenges. Our approach is collaborative, relational, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Our Approach

We utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, somatic awareness, emotional regulation strategies, and relationally grounded therapy. We believe meaningful change happens when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to develop new ways of relating to themselves and their experiences.

Therapy may support clients in:

• Managing anxiety and chronic stress
• Understanding patterns of worry, avoidance, or overwhelm
• Developing healthier coping strategies
• Improving emotional regulation
• Building self-awareness and self-compassion
• Strengthening relationships and communication
• Increasing confidence, resilience, and balance

A Supportive Environment for Growth

We understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process.
